Arthur Edward Wellington Fox earned his MB from the University of Edinburgh in 1870, having also studied at University College London and in Bristol. He spent most of his career in Bath, serving as Senior Physician to the Eastern Dispensary, Physician at Bellott's Mineral Water Hospital, and Consulting Physician to the Royal United Hospital, Bath. He published several works, including 'A Short Manual of the Bath Mineral Water', and articles on cerebral tumours and cerebral abscesses. He retired in 1898 and died in 1930.
