Anthony Lindsay was awarded an MD from Marischal College, University of Aberdeen, on 17 December 1814. He was admitted a Licentiate of the College on 7 February 1815 and elected a Fellow on 2 May 1815. After Aberdeen he was employed on a plantation in Jamaica, although the nature of his work is unclear.
