Andrew Graham Ritchie graduated BSc from the University of Edinburgh in 1907 and completed MB ChB in 1910. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1920. During the First World War he served as a Captain in the Royal Army Medical Corps attached to No. 8 Mobile Laboratory of the British Expeditionary Force. He worked as Physician at the Cowgate Dispensary and Longmore Hospital and as Clinical Tutor at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. His publications include 'Serum Reaction in Bacillary Dysentery' (1920) and 'Incidence of Infections with Pfeiffer's Bacillus' (1921).

Fellowship
