Alfred James Atkinson

Alfred James Atkinson trained at University College London. He became a Licentiate of the Society of Apothecaries of London in 1870 and a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons and Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1871. He worked primarily as a Medical Officer, first at the East London Hospital for Children and Dispensary for Women, and later at the Farnham Union Workhouse in Surrey.
