Alexander Russell

Date of honorary Fellowship admission: 12 February 1712
Alexander Russell, who practised medicine in Elgin, dedicated 'Ane Essay of Medicin' to the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. In response, the College granted him honorary fellowship. He may have been the uncle of physician and naturalist Alexander Russell (1714–1768).
