Alexander Keiller

Alexander Keiller was born in Arbroath and educated in Dundee. He attended medical classes in Edinburgh, became a Licentiate of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1833 and practised in Dundee before returning to Edinburgh in 1844 as a prominent extramural teacher.
