Alexander Douglas

Sir Alexander Douglas, seventh baronet, was born in 1738. He studied medicine at Leiden before receiving his MD from the University of St Andrews in 1760. In 1770 he assumed the title of baronet and in 1798 served as a military physician. Douglas died in 1812.
