Albert Benthall

Albert Benthall was admitted as a Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1876 and became a Member of the College on 7 May 1878. By the early 1890s he was practising as a Surgeon in Portsmouth. By 1899 Benthall had been appointed Head Office Medical Officer to the Ocean Accident and Guarantee Corporation. He was later involved in discussions relating to medical aspects of the National Insurance Bill in the early twentieth century.
