Fiona Garwood

This interview was part of the free public exhibition Moonstruck: 500 years of mental health which ran at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh from 14 June 2019 to Spring 2020. 

Fiona Garwood has worked all her life in the voluntary sector, first as a social worker and then in family mediation. She is a member of the Scottish Electro Convulsive Therapy Network User Group. In this interview Fiona discusses her own experiences with Electro Convulsive Therapy (ECT) as well as those of her grandmother, many decades ago, at the Crichton Hospital in Dumfries.
