Wednesday 12 August 2026
6pm - 7pm
Hybrid: Online & No.11 Queen Street, Edinburgh, EH2 1JQ
£3
Join menstruation specialists Prof Anne MacGregor and Prof Hilary Critchley for a groundbreaking discussion busting myths and sharing their expertise on the latest science about menstruation.
The conversation on menstruation is still unheard. Hilary will explore why, and, what action is needed to “break the silence” concerning this normal event experienced by half the world’s population.
Migraine affects three times more women than men due to the effects of female sex hormones. Anne will uncover what migraine is, the likely mechanisms for perimenstrual attacks and effective management strategies.
