In this single case display the spotlight is on the history of the Edinburgh Medical School. 

Within fifty years of the creation of the Medical School, Edinburgh had become the most famous centre for medical education in Europe. With the four objects in this display, we explore the why, and how, of Edinburgh's medical ascent.
