JanetIsabel Campbell at 40, has a constant discharge from the vagina of a considerable quantity of thick viscid, whitish coloured matter, but without any considerable ardor urinae. She complains also of pains in various parts of the body, particularly in the right side. She is also frequently affected with palpitations & sometimes with fainting fits. Pulse 80 & pretty full, tongue white, appetite & strength much impaired, Belly & Menses regular. The discharge from the vagina first appeard after a flooding, with which she was affected about a year ago. And it has continued ever since with little intermission. She perceives it to be encreased in quantity before the menstrual periods, & is sensible of its continuing during the flow of the menses Her other complaints have come on lately, & she thinks, that they have been induced by the weakness consequent on the continued discharge. She had used no medicines Rx. Tinct. Aromat. - Amar. Ag. Menth aa ℥iiMcap. ℥p. ter de die. Janr 9. The sickness at stomach is much relievd & the discharge considerably diminishd since she began her mixture. Cont. med. u. a. 16 Has taken none of her mixture for two days past & since that time she has had much uneasiness at stomach. The discharge from the vagina at present almost gone. But she expects her menses in eight days. Cont. Mist. u. a. 23. The menstrual discharge appeard on Monday last & continued only two days in rather less extent than usual. It has not been followd by any Leucorrhoea, & in every other respect she is much easier Cont. Mist. u.a 30 Has had some slight returns of the Leucorrhoea which she ascribes to cold & fatigue in washing Cont. Mist. u. a. Febr. 6 The Leucorrhoea is at present almost entirely gone. But she has been of late much affected with uneasiness in her bowels, attended with frequent yawning, & sometimes with fainting fits. Pulse & Belly natural. Cont. Mist. u. a. add. Spt.
