    Patrick Murray

    (1788-1789)

    No27th Patrick Murray at 15

Can be no doubt that princip sym in case of this pat. stom ail.

Here however a matter of some doubt whether are to consid him as lab. under Dysp. or Hypochond.

For at least most of sympt to which is subj. in comm to both.

Some partic indeed which may be consid as rather fav supp. of Hypoch.

Espe. depress of spirits, & sense of coldness.

For latter especially as partially occurring in feet, back, or like, a very comm sympt of that affect.

And former. ment affect partic as markd in depr of spirits well known to constit a great part of the disease.

May add also as farthr evid of Hypochond the contin of the affect.

For already we are told subj to it for no less than two years.

But on other hand circum of age great obj.

For at least a very rare occur to obs. it, at so early period of life.

And may yet hope that will turn out a less obs. affect.

In mean time am attempt to comb. it by use of ordin. stom.

And from effect of these will be determind both in opin of disease & as to future practices.
