Of case of this patient have not formd a decided opin. Sympt to which subj. such as may occurr from var. causes. And may even add attend of diff diseases. Most if not all of them not unfreq occur, as mere dysp. sympt or stom ailm. And can be no doubt that what may be calld Dysp here occurs. Here indic by pain of stom, inclin to vomit, flatul. &e. But prob that here merely sympt. And reason to presume that occur [also] as sympt of Hysteria orDyspep.Amenor Former supp. chiefly counten, by age of patient, freq. of disease & sense of Glob. But of the two reckon latter most probab. Catamenia indeed when obst. as freq. conseq as cause of disease. But in that case follow only some time after othr sympt have occurred. Here however obst. took place at comm of affect. And none of sympt mentiond which do not freq. occurr as conseq of obst. In hopes therefore that on restorat of disch all sympt may be removed And for this purp. have thoughts of trying electric. But wish first to try effects, of remed obv flatul & gently bracing syst. Not so much from hopes of great benef as that may have opp of judgemn more accur of disease, & partic of obs. whethr any reason to susp that obstr the effect of pregnancy.
