In case of this infant have I am affraid a case of Vener. Gonnorh. For here all the ordin app of the disease. And at same time in way of infect as sleeping with her mother who subj to it at time when her affect began. Easy to conceive that from [linnen] of mother an applc of matter to parts in which disease here chiefly seated may have taken place. This indeed do not pretend to adv. as an assert admitting of no doubt. For in some inst running from vagina even at early period of life not vener. But a very rare occurr And when takes place seldom with excor. or inflam. Consider Vener. Gonnorh. therefore as here by much most prob. sup. And to this treatm accord directed. At same time meas empl. such as well suited for it if mere mucous disch. Gentle laxat viz, Saturn Solut for washing parts, & Saturn ointm for applic to excor. To this treatm hope may soon yeild. But if does not & if no reason to alter opin shall prob. have recourse to a small quant of Mecur. Partic to a gentle course of Calomel. Of pract however already directed or which may be directed, shall afterwards speak at more length.183.
