    In case of this patient a distinct markd inst of Epilepsia.

    And in many of circum as shall afterwards have occas to ment rather favour than otherwise.

    At same time need hardly add, that this disease in gener. a very obst. one.

    And very [consid] major. of inst found irremov. by any means we can employ.

    Such an [event] partic to be dreaded where before prop remed tried disease of so long stand as to become as it were habitual.

    But often happens in cases app. slightest & most fav.

    At least if except those where cause of accid & trans. nature.

    As for example where proceeds from small Pox, Worms or like.

    Latter of these indeed susp. to be [case] with pres. patient.

    And some circum as pain in bowels grinding of teeth & like, gave counten to this suppos.

    But before she came under our care diff anthelm tried without prod any effect in disch of worm.

    Concl. therfore conject to be groundless. And accord. have begun treatm on a diff plan.

    By use viz of a remedy which seems to operate in remov. tend to inord action in muscles.

    Viz Cuprum Ammon.

    And to this if no circum [illegible] to alter plan, mean to give full & fair trial.
