    In history of this patients case many sympt enumer.

    But little doubt in consid all of them as Hyster. sympt.

    A disease well known to put on great diversity of app.

    But here suff. charact by Glob. Hysteric, & headach.

    Not improb. as patient herself susp. that may have origin from obstr. & scanty menst.

    But whether this the case or not now little doubt as to obstin of [dise]

    After so long contin could not even expect, that, by natural menst disch

    And utmost that here look for is allev of affect.

    Which chiefly to be expected by obv. inordin action of alim canal & strength tone.

    For this purpose have with latter intent had recourse to vegetab bitters & aromat.

    And with former to Assafoetid.

    Artic in such inst not unfreq prod of some advant.

    Still more however to be expected here, from regular exercise in open air & cold bathing.

    But to former, season of year occurs as obj, & to latter [circum] of our patient.

    This however shall at least enjoin as far as circum will [permit]

    And of effects shall afterward here speak.
