In case of this patient distinct charact of a very comm. & at same time a very obstin affect. That modif of Rheum viz seated chiefly in one of infer. extrem. partic in thigh. And which from situat. has name of Sciatica. Of chief morb. affect on which this disease depends diff opin entert. And am inclind to think, that in reality a found for diff. opin. That is that disease does not unif or invar. arise from one morb. aff. only. And pres. case as shall afterw. endeav. to shew not without pecul These also not in fav of speedy recover. While at same time also an unfav circum that has already resist sever diff modes of cure. Still however many other active remed which may be held not with prosp. of success. And inclind to hope that may have satisf. of dismiss. pat. free from affect. Have you will observe put him on use of Ol. Tereb. A remed of which have not for my own part much exper. But of effects & of diff conject as to mod operand. shall afterwards speak at more length. Here mean to give it fair trial. If fails, have thoughts of directin issue or having recourse to electr. But in this determ by future circum
