A distinct markd inst of Paralysis. Ascribd & prob. with just to conjoind action of cold & wet. At least to these so freq. [succeed] as to give strong presumpt of [conn] as cause & effect. An affect well known very obstin even in slightest inst. Here however to such extent & of such standing as to give little hopes of recov. Sympt indeed somewhat [beter] than once were But no alterat now for three years. And I own hopes of being servic to him very faint. If any remed benefic, may I think expect adv. from Electr. To this therfore is intent to give full & fair trial. And if succeeds will be not a little in fav of the med. As from weather & other circum cannot answ for regul. exhib. have conj. it with Camph. Of which also, have I own good opin. And which in conj. with Elect intend also to push to some ext. If these fail shall be disp. prov. can procure it, to give trial to the Arnica Montana. An artic of which I own I have for my own part no exper. But which so far celeb. as to deserve trial.
