    No29. David Shank a young man in 29 year has on former occas been oftener than once a pat at Disp for disease to which now subj.

    This I consider as being a pecul. modif of Chorea

    These pecul. shall afterw point out when treat of case at length.

    May I think hope, that now, as well as formerly, will for pres at least, have fav termin.

    But at same time am I own not without appreh. that in end will fall a victim to it.

    Ground for appreh that may grad degener. into paralyt. state.

    And should not I own be surp. if an affect of this kind should [eve] attack sudd. to great degree.

    Or if from affect of vital organs in some of fits death should [ensue] in manner even more instant.

    Hope however that as formerly again be benef. by trial of Cup. Ammon. on which have you will obs put him.
