James Lundie at 37. Has a very violent & almost constant cough. He seldom expectorates any thing but when he does it gives him a short respite from the cough He has also the sensation of a tight girt about the breadth of a persons hand extending from one breast to the other & he perceives a prickling sensation in the various parts of this imaginary girt. The pains are most violent before the cough & are hardly felt when it is present, but return again as soon as it ceases.
