Ann Saunders at 8. Has an ulcer on the outside & about the middle of the left forearm which discharges a good deal of purulent matter. The whole forearm is swelld & hotter to the touch but not redder than natural. P. about 100. T. natural, belly regular appetite good. She is thirsty but sleeps well. Her affection commenced about two years ago in the form of a tumour without any obvious injury done to the part. It suppurated about a year ago & has ever since continued an ulcer. She has light eyes brown hair & sometimes a short tickling cough She never had any tumours which ulcerated about the maxilla, but there are two cicatrices on the left hand which have formerly been ulcers. She never took any medicines till last week, when she had some powders of Cicuta, Camphorated oil & Saturnine ointment. She has used these regularly & not perceivd any sickness or costiveness from the powders, & her mother thinks that the discharge is improved. She has no pain in her arm excepting just above the [elbow]. Cap. Pulv. Fol. Cicut gr VII bis indies. Illin. Ol. Camph. p. dol. om. m. & vesp. & applic ungt Saturn ulceric. Janr 4.
