    December 27th 1782 No27.

Pulse about 100. Tongue natural, belly regular appetite good. She is thirsty but sleeps well. Her affection commenced about two years ago in the form of a tumour without any obvious injury done to the part. It suppurated about a year ago & has ever since continued an ulcer.

She has light eyes brown hair & sometimes a short tickling cough

She never had any tumours which ulcerated about the maxilla, but there are two cicatrices on the left hand which have formerly been ulcers. She never took any medicines till last week, when she had some powders of Cicuta, Camphorated oil & Saturnine ointment. She has used these regularly & not perceived any sickness or costiveness from the powders, & her mother thinks that the discharge is improved.
