Against former, & indeed against affec in gener, directed Calc of Zinc with Valer.

From both these med in no long time obt. good effect.

At first indeed Spt of Nitre seemd to have little influ, in quant. then directd

But on giving double quant with which began, urine rest to nat state.

When first began use of Zinc sat easily upon stomach

Was soon less freq. affected with Glob. hyster. rising to throat

And flying pain very much dimin

From these app. had hopes of cure from contin

And accord at end of 2d week all sympt still farther mitig.

But now powder often occas sickness sometim vomiting.

This therfore led to change of formul.

And in place of Valer. empl. P. [Creta].

But even in this state also did not easily sit upon stomach.

From which, reason to inferr. that former vomit the effects of the Zinc.
