    John Robinson.

    Case of this patient had little doubt in consid as an inst of [Phths]

    And before came under our care had made very consid progr.

    Consid expect, as then purul. & was evid with mixt of blood.

    And pulse seldom under 100, while strength very much exhaus.

    Here viewd Phthis as being of tuberc kind.

    And although very little hopes of recov. yet thought case might afford opport for trial of Cicuta.

    With this view directed powder of Cicuta to be taken in Mucil. Mixt.

    As from this hoped that might at same time obt some mitig of cough.

    On this course contin for some weeks

    And appar. with some relief.

    At least expect. without any fresh mixt of blood.

    But as often happens in Phthisis sympt soon again aggrav.

    And in no long time became [unab] of giving farther attendance.

    Since After that have visited him sever times, at fathers house.

    And directed sever pract. with view however merely of obv. sympt.

    Partic vomiting & colliq. loosenss which became very distress. to him.

    But though these prod of some tempor ease, yet no influ in stopin prog of disorder.

    And has now fallen victim to it.
