When given with view to later of these was found very servicab again formr.
This led to its being tried intent in two other cases. And in these also was found prod of good affect. From such exper. joind to formr sentim. shall I own be disp to give it fair & even freq trial. For although not suited to all cases may yet succeed in some. And that too although in othr inst should evid be prod of bad affect. Here then mean to give it as fair trial, as circum of case will admit of. And that may be bettr able to judge of real affect, unless from [urgn] sympt, shall wish to employ it alone. And if no inconv from small dose, mean soon to give it to extent of ℥i or ii in course of day During this course however may be obliged occas to employ emet or blist with view to miti of sympt But if in end ineffect have next in view the use of a diuret med with this patient. With that intent shall have recourse to dulcif spt of nitre. If employd shall afterwards expl to you at more length my intent in such trial. But at pres unnecess to enter upon it. Any may concl. with observ. that if this also ineffect shall then have recourse to those pract in most common use, issues, squills, G. Ammon or the like. To day at one o’Clock at Pub.
