    Andrew Hutton

    (1780-1781)

In opin which formerly gave of case of Andw Hutton am now inclind to think that was mistaken

Susp. then was, that patient lab. under an incip Phthisis.

And can at least say that have seen many inst of Phthis which had at length fatal termin where sympt for long time less alarm.

Notwith these appear howevr, from event which has now taken place may I think with confid pron it to have been merely catarhal.

For in no long time, after case last treated of, was dismissd free from affect.

And that event may I think attrib to meas here employd.

Use viz of issue & of demulcent combind with anodyne
