    Ann Miln

    (1779-1780)

Case of Ann Miln also we have treated for long time without any better success

And this indeed no more than formerly foretold.

Here indeed must acknowledge that expect. of being able to keep disease at a stand disapp.

For notwith various remed affect accord to acct brought us manif encreased.

And she herself for consid time past unab. to attend us.

Here may observe that Zinc comb. with Valer. empl. upwards of month without affect.

But that this proof only of obstin of disease, not of want of effic, may I think, safely inferr, from having resistd also many other pract.

And these too such as from long exper found to afford allev.

Now therefore would conclude, that to this affect patient will at last fall victim
