    Ann Miln

    (1779-1780)

Case of Ann Miln also we have treated for long time without any better success

And this indeed no more than formerly foretold.

Here indeed must acknowledge that expectation of being able to keep disease at a stand disappointed.

For notwithstanding various remedies affection according to account brought us manifestly increased.

And she herself for considerable time past unable to attend us.

Here may observe that Zinc combined with Valerian employed upwards of month without affect.

But that this proof only of obstinacy of disease, not of want of efficacy, may I think, safely infer, from having resisted also many other practices.

And these too such as from long experience found to afford alleviation.

Now therefore would conclude, that to this affection patient will at last fall victim
