    (1779-1780)

which have been under care for consid time since had last occas to speak of them.

In former lect. have already had occas to state sentim & expl. views in pract, with regard to about 40 patn treated during pres. winter course

As winter sess. however now draws to conclus. shall beg leave to employ pres lect in taking short review of some cases + which have been afforded subj of pract remark since last spoke of them.

With James Burton made trial of Simarouba as prop.

But without affect of curing disease

This however less surpriz. as althoug obt genuine bark yet very far from being of good qualit.

Not therefore surpriz to be wondered at that looseness rather aggrav under it

For to be consid as little more than introd of so much water.

But if had even found it of best qualit case of such nature that success very doubtful or even hardly to be expected.

Affords therefore no conclus against med.
