    Alexr Lauder.

Case of this patient exhib an examp of a paralyt affect.

Neither uncommon in sympt. nor in state in which have made much progress.

Although therfore of two years durat. still consid them as being within what may be calld period of artif cure.

But although this the case am far from looking upon it as an inst in which can entert sanguine hopes of recov

Cure in no inst of Paralys. even the slightest to be absol depend upon.

Yet in others where sympt much worse will often be success effected.

In case before us, since patient cam under our care has been const on use of electric

Am acquainted with no mode of cure from which more essent service has been obt.

And if pres. patient gives prop attend shall wish to give it full & fair trial.
