    Christian Thomson

    (1777-1778)

In case of Christ Thomson had example of natural cure in case affect appar alarm

Disease exhib singul example of affect of nervous kind.

And partic markd by pecul convuls.

May however be observd that such affect in general much more alarming than in reality danger.

And was not without hopes that migh be termin by artif cure.

In this however soon interrupted by occurr of fever.

During course of this, was although not entirely yet in great meas freed from fits.

An example how much may be affected by those changes occurring in syst. from circum, of operat of which are entirely ignor.

And such examples should lead us not to despair of natural cure even where artif means found ineffect.
