In history of this patients complaint characteristics of two diseases, & both very common. Leucorrhoea & Menorrhagia. These not infrequently occur separately. Perhaps oftener however conjoined. Or at least with Fluor Albus much more frequently morbid increase than diminishment of menstrual. And when Leucorrhoea & Menorrhoea conjoined complaint very generally more obstinate than when either separate. For mutually operate as causes supporting each other And at same, by presence of either preventing restoration from practice which might otherwise be employed. From these circumstances then reason to apprehend that this case will prove obstinate. Especially as either disease even in its most simple state very difficult to overcome. In this instance with a view to restoring due vigour to uterine vessels, have had recourse to tonic & Astringent. And as such have employed Peruvian Bark & Vitriolic Acid. Hitherto cannot pretend to say, that from these have reaped any great advantage. But have at least been product of no bad effects. And as is only from continuation that can expect benefit this at least some inducement to persist in same plan.
