Of case of this patient not altogether decided in opinion. But consider principle part of it the violent pain of back as being a muscular affection. And as originating from severe exertion with stooping. To this am inclined to refer other symptoms to which is subjected And particularly both affections of urine & stomach ailment. Hope therefore than on removal of pain all other symptoms will soon cease And on idea suggested, have directed friction with Anodyne Balsam But at same time state of urine seemed also to require some attention. And is with view to this that have directed the Cream of Tartar as a gentle diuretic. Am in hopes that from these considerations relief may soon be obtained. If this however shall not be the case, must have recourse to other practices according to idea which may then entertained of nature of affection. And particularly may perhaps treat pain as Rheumatic & affection of alimentary canal, as Dyspepsia. But of this must afterwards judge by circumstances. And am in hopes that neither will be necessary.
