    Ann Hay

    No30 In case of Ann Hay a woman in 47th year, have a great diversity of symptoms.

    And with regard to her disease must acknowledge am not without difficulty.

    At present inclined to suppose that most of her symptoms of Hysteria kind.

    But before form any decisive opinion wish to see something more of case.

    And till then, practice chiefly directed, to obviate particular symptoms.

    As a means of obviating difficulty in passing urine & of [counteracting] costiveness have had recourse to composite powder of Cream of Tartar.

    And according to idea which shall form of case or symptoms which shall be most urgent future practices will be directed.
