    John Henderson

    (1785-1786)

    13. John Henderson last patient subjected to a cutaneous affection rather uncommon.

Though in some respects to appearance of leprous kind yet in progress at least little corresponding with that affection

Some grounds for presuming I think that more from condition of common mass of fluids than from state of cutaneous vessels or sebaceous glands of skin.

Of this however shall afterwards state sentiments at greater length.

At present sufficient to observe that am attempting removal by increasing cuticle discharge.

And for this purpose have put patient on a course of Crude Antimony

For which in such instances have often I think seen best effects
