Margaret Runciman
1784
No15 November 28. 1784
Margaret Runciman at 2 Her forehead is covered all over with an entire scab resembling much the confluent smallpox. By this affection she appears to be much disturbed in her temperament. When she was first seized her face was entirely covered with an uniform scab. but this entirely disappeared & her face was clear & free from all blotches for the space of four or five days. After this however her forehead broke out & has remained in this situation ever since. About two months ago, this complaint appeared & two months before this period, she was ill of the smallpox. No cause can be assigned for this affection & she has used no medicines. Hab. Ungt Saturn. ℥ I illin p. aff. nec non Rx Antim crud ppt. grX Pulv.
