The present symptoms first attacked her about three weeks ago, at which time the most obvious symptom was a great pain in the abdomen. Soon after a looseness appeared & has continued ever since. It was attended at first with severe gripes, & some tenesmus, but these symptoms have now left her. The matter discharged is without any bloody appearance, but it is often somewhat, of a greenish cast.
