    Jean McKingly

    (1780-1781)

In case of Jean [McKingly] when last spoke of her was of opinion that had made considerable advances in cure of Rheumatic affection of severe nature by means of Elixir of Guaicaum

And after treatment of case afforded I think, confirmation of that opinion

For not long after was dismissed free from affection.

And may now I think add this to many examples which have before seen of efficacy of Volatile Elixir of Guaiacum in certain cases of Rheumatism.

For introduction of which in manner here employed are indebted to Dr Dawson of London.
