Mary McDonald, continued about a month under care after last subject of lecture.
Then expressed several doubts as to name & nature of affection. But in as far as she was subjected to any disease had no reason to alter opinion then suggested, that affection was hysteria. From aversion on her own part had not opportunity of making that trial of Zinc [which] intended. This then led me to use of Cuprum Ammoniala. But although patient somewhat easier when dismissed, yet could not I think ascribe this to medicine. And must own was not without doubts respecting her employing medicine directed Was therefore very well pleased to lay hold of favourable opportunity of considerable remission of symptoms for dismissing her.
