Lieutaud moved to Paris and became a physician in the royal infirmary, then a physician to the royal children, and then chief physician to King Louis XVI. His publications included ‘Essais anatomiques’ (1742), ‘Précis de la medecine pratique’ (1759) and ‘Précis de la matiere mdedicale’. (1766).
