The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh has an illustrious roll of Fellows and Members many of whom, both past and present, have been involved in significant medical innovations and research.
This collection of recordings comprises interviews with a selection of these individuals. In these recordings, the interviewees discuss their education, training, and medical careers, charting major medical advances which they witnessed and participated in.
The earliest interview, with Sir Stanley Davidson, took place in 1973 and the most recent interviews took place in 2023.
