    Alison Wallace

    1789

    No22 Decr 29th. 1789.

Alison Wallace at 14 has her legs & arms as well as a great part of the trunk of her body, covered with a dry scabby eruption appearing in spots of different sizes. The white scales often fall off leaving the parts below of a red & raw appearance; but in a few days the scales are again renewed. Her eyes are very tender & she is sometimes affected with giddiness & sickness.

All the functions are in the natural state.

The eruption first appeard about six months ago, when a small spot not larger than a shilling was noticed on her arm. It has since extended in blotches over almost every part of the surface.

    She has used no remedies.

Has continued her medicines regularly without any inconvenience. And the eruption is rather diminishd. Where the scales fall off, there seems to be less tendency, to the renewal of this than formerly.
