And to want of usual action of that part of syst. are to ascribe sickness at stom, swelling & hardness of abdom & other sympt. While however thus unquest evid of jaundice may also add that case in many resp. very unfav. Among other circum may ment age of pat. For has already arrivd at 80th year And perhaps may even add as anoth unfav circum that till pres. period never subj to jaund. This at least am disp. to consider as giving presumpt. that [now] rather effect of schirros than of calcul. Is however still more a proof of this that disease has grad encr. And that accomp with but little pain. While former howevr rarely fatal from latter rarely recov. But notwith these presumpt. is from hopes that calcul. may [part] exist that have had recourse to repeated Emet. Which of all modes of expelling [illegible ] calc the most powerful. Here howevr dare not venture to push them to any great extent And endeav. prob much more empl in attempts to allev sympt than to [remove] effect. Is with this intent that have had recourse to aloet pills. But of pres as well as future pract observ. hereafter.
