    In hist of this patient case sever sympt enum.

    Little doubt however that all these arise from excess menstr.

    And that here an exampl of Menarrh.

    A disease which although freq. occurring yet rarely to be met with at this period of life.

    Much more common at period when menses usually leave femal.

    And when occuring at early period is very gener. conseq of abort.

    Not impossib. although not told to us that this may have been case in pres inst.

    Here however can be guided only by informat given.

    And in this view of case, must consider it as proceeding from some cause, of which patient ignor.

    Though such cases rare yet not to be denied that sometime occur.

    And in these upon whole progn. may be more favour.

    At the same time must be allow that in every case an affect diff to comb.

    In overcoming first obj to give [const] to bleeding vessels.

    And second to restore such tone that not afterw affected in sim. manner

    With first of these intent, have here had recourse to gentle astrin.

    Vitr. acid. Alum

    And with latter may empl tonic as Peruv bark.

    But obs. on pract afterwards
