    No2. Thos Mackay, at 30 a Weaver

In case of this patient, a distinct markd inst of Paralysis.

And that app. under one of most common forms. Haemiplegia affect left side.

Need hardly add that this disease very comm an obstin often an incur affect

And what perhaps no less deplor. very apt to have returns after app compl. recov.

Yet in circum of case before us sever partic rather fav than otherw

Still of such short stand, that cannot be consid as having passd periods either of natur or artif cure.

And of late has made very consid progr. to recov.

This I own am inclind in some degree at least to attrib to electric.

And am in hopes that by contin of same pract, still greater progr. may be made to recov of perf. health

Some indeed of mod pract & these too of first emin. who hold electr to be a pract of very little use.

And am willing to allow, that some electr. have disapp expect by extolling it higher than ought to have done.

Yet for my own part no doubt that one of most powerful [illegible] we can employ.

And that in paralys. not unfreq. prod of great benef.

Shall however state sentim with respect to it, more fully when come to [treat] case at greater length.
