    Susan Weed

    1788

    No14th Novr 18th. 1788

Susan Weed at 3. has a considerable discharge from the vagina of a white viscid fluid, similar to that which occurs in Gonorrhoea.

The labia & external parts are inflammed & excoriated, but no ulcers appear upon these parts.

Pulse frequent, belly loose, skin hot & dry, much thirst, appetite impaird.

This discharge first came on about five weeks ago without any previous cause. But it appears that her mother with whom she sleeps, was at that time affected with gonorrhoea attended by her own account with symptoms of syphilis

    She has used no medicines
