N^o14^th Decr 4^th. 1787.

Janet Frazer at 44. is affected with frequent loose stools, [having] frequently often ten or twelve in the course of a day accompanied with severe tormina & much tenesmus. She complains also of a gravative pain at the lower part of her breast, which is sometimes attended with nausea & vomiting. She has also at times great pain at the lower part of her back.

Pulse about 90 low & weak Great thirst, appetite much impaird, strength somewhat diminishd

Has seen nothing of the Catamenia for four years past, which she attributes to which much exposure to cold at that time.

She first became affected with the pain of her stomach about five weeks ago, a forthnight after which the looseness superveend & it has continued to encrease in severity ever since.

She can assign no cause for her present complaints & has used no medicines.

Has taken the mixture as directed & her looseness is now very much alleviated.
