    Compl of this patient [somewhat] of anomal nature.

    Partic the uncommon sense of coldness with which daily affected.

    Taken in conj with pector compl. may perhaps be consid as some mark of Phth Pulmn.

    And espec as patient little passed common consumpt period, & with consid quickness of pulse.

    Am howevr rather inclind to consider cough, as catarhal.

    And to have already degener into chron state

    Of this strong presumpt from from regul attacks, at early hour in morning.

    And from cause to which attrib, hard labour, & expos to cold.

    Is on this suppos. that pract hitherto conducted.

    After pres. an Emet, have had recourse to a mucil mixt with a port of Vin. Nicot.

    An artic which in [sevr] inst of chron catarrh, have I think used with advant.

    And from which, hope to reap benef in pres case.

    But both in pract & progn. must have view to danger of Phthis

    And should not be surp if soon found it necess to direct treat to that [affec]
