Disease somewhat of compl. natur One of most distress sympt Cephal. From situat. from course & partic from sever. when first becomes warm in bed, reason to conclu. that is of the Rheum kind. And no doubt that a numb of inst of headach dep. on Rheum But besides this is affected also with compl of alim canal. Partic distens with wind followd by pain, sickness & vomiting. Pain also of side, prob also effect of simil distens there. This the rather prob. as notwith distens no free disch either by eructat or vomiting. And not improb. that affect of alim. canal. may have even consid share in induc headach. For well known that from affec of stomach headachs often arise. Hence perhaps to be consid as chief obj both with view to progn. & pract. With regard to former may observe that nothing in case alarm or dan And may I think with some conf. entert hopes if not of compl. remov. at least of consid allev. This first & prin to be expected by free disch of wind partic downw. And by obv. costiv prob. operat as one great cause of retent. From this as already obs. reason even to hope for relief of headach For obs. that always most severe when stomach distend. Is with these intent then that have directed for this patient the Pil. Foetid cum Aloe. P. [Ae.] of Aloes. Assaf. & Soap. If from this obt relief may have recourse to some other med to [secur] advant. Such for ex as vegetab. bitters tonics & aromat. Partic the Peruv. Bark. But not improb. that although from these, all the success that could be des. as obv. stom ailm, yet some other meas may be necess for headach In this however, must be regul. by circum in which shall afterwards find patient.
